5 Session AOS Essentials

This series of classes is designed to expose you to all that Art of Strength has to offer. During these classes you will receive the individual attention you need to improve your technique and get a better understanding of our training tools and methods. The tools used during these sessions include: Ropes Gone Wild, vintage barbells and dumbbells, kettlebells, bandit loops, sandbags and medicine balls.

  • Goblet squat
  • Figure 8 to a hold

Session 2
  • Review swing
  • Single arm swing
  • Alternating swing
  • Vintage clean
  • Kettlebell clean
  • Triple crush
  • Jump ropes
  • Bandit loops
    • Plank
  • Ropes Gone Wild
    • Alternating waves
  • Begin Turkish get up
Session 3
  • Review swing and clean
  • Swing release (two handed)
  • Press
  • Kettlebell front (racked) squat
  • Renegade rows
  • Sandbag slams
  • Bandit loops
    • Suspended lunge
  • Ropes Gone Wild
    • Grapplers
  • Continue with Turkish get up

Session 4
  • High Pull
  • Windmill
  • Sledge hammer
  • Pull ups
  • Bandit loops
    • Knee tucks
  • Ropes Gone Wild
    • Snow boards
  • Continue with Turkish get up

Session 5

This session is used as a review of the movements covered in the previous sessions focusing on trouble areas.
